2022 HARVEST FESTIVAL

SANBORN PTO

Supporting our school and staying connected

Sanborn gives back to the community. Again this year, students in each grade will be making an item for the gift bag,

as well as, being asked to donate a food item. The gift bags will be delivered on Friday, November 18th through the

Andover Senior Center, Meals on Wheels Program as well as in the Atria Marland Place. 5th grade students will be

delivering to Andover Senior center on 11/18.

We will begin collecting items for the Harvest Festival on 11/7 through 11/14. We have a box set up by the school's

front entrance. Please consider supporting this great cause!

Items we are looking for:

  • Kindergarten and 1st grade: 4-6 juice boxes, any flavor
  • 2nd and 3rd: 4-6 individual snack-sized cheese and crackers or pretzels
  • 4th and 5th grade: 4-6 individual snack-sized fruit or fruit cocktail cups (cups or cans with the pull-off tops)

Harvest Festival News from the Music Room

Exciting news about the Harvest Festival concert. We are unable to have parents attend the concert because of the lack of
space in the cafeteria, however, we were able to connect with Andover TV and we will be able to record and show the performance on Andover TV.

Our 4th and 5th graders have been working very hard on their Harvest Festival musical presentation. Since our performance will be the week of Thanksgiving (Tuesday November 22 during the school day) I have a couple of requests:

(1) WHAT TO WEAR: Please send your 4th or 5th grade child to school on Harvest Festival day wearing a plain blue top (no writing please - they can wear a shirt inside out or backwards if needed) and black pants/leggings/sweatpants.

(2)ABSENCE: If your 4th or 5th grade child is going to be absent on Tuesday, Nov 22 please send an email to me at diane.waddell@andoverma.us so we can plan accordingly

(3)LISTENING: Here is a recording of our last song "Let it Grow" (sung by the chorus) if your child wants to sing along and practice at home.
If you have any questions please email me at diane.waddell@andoverma.us
