Children's Stage Adventures (CSA)
​June 5-9, 2017

The students and actor/educators will be working really hard this year to pull off a successful performance of the "The Elves and the Shoemaker".  Parent volunteers are needed to help make it run as smoothly as it can. Please consider volunteering some of your time!  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.  

Parent Volunteers Needed June 5-9:  Parents are needed to supervise during rehearsals and performances, as well as, to assist with costumes, make-up, ticket sales, etc.  Sign-up here:​ 

Key Information:

On Monday, June 5, we will all meet at 2:45 in the cafeteria for a snack. You should bring a nut-free snack. There will be time to eat your snack and then quietly read or work on homework.

Auditions will be held from 3:00 – 5:00. Everyone will receive a part. You do not need     to do anything to prepare for auditions.

The cast will be announced at 5:00. Most of you will NOT be needed for the second rehearsal (5:30 – 7:30) – approximately 12 people will need to stay to begin rehearsing some scenes and songs.

We would like everyone to plan to be picked up at 5:00 outside of the cafeteria. At that time we will notify the families of the children who need to stay and will ask them to come back at 7:30 and pick up their children. We know this may involve an extra trip for some parents and we apologize for this. We will try and contact those families earlier if we can.

We will provide pizza for dinner for those few students who will be needed for the second rehearsal on Monday.

Please be reminded that this is a PTO event and the school nurse will not be on duty after 3:15. If your child has a life-threatening allergy need for an epi-pen or inhaler, you as a parent need to be responsible for management of those while your child is at rehearsal.

Please note that cast members will be having food before practices and at the dinner break.

All students will receive a detailed schedule with information about rehearsal for the remainder of the week.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, June 5 and run every afternoon with two performance on
Friday June 9 (1:15 for student & staff and 7:00 PM for families).
